Harvest Festival

Published on 26 September 2019

Harvest Festival and ‘The Wider Community’ will be the focus for our assemblies next week.  These assemblies are a great opportunity to reflect on our community and how we can give a little to others to brighten their day.  We encourage families to make donations that are then given out to local elderly residents.

It would be very much appreciated if each student could bring a small gift of groceries, flowers, fruit and vegetables. Gifts should be taken to the School Hall in the morning before school during the week from Monday 30th September – Friday 11th October. On Friday, 11th October these will be distributed by some of the students to many of the Senior Citizens of Sawbridgeworth and High Wych.

Please note - any perishables should only be brought into school on Friday, 11th October and nothing requiring refrigeration can be accepted. To ensure a variety of items are provided, perhaps it would help to choose two items from different boxes below.
