Our end of Year 7 Camp took place in Boughton Woods, Northamptonshire, again this year and what an amazing time they had!

Despite some pretty wet weather, they took part in team building and survival activities including Camouflage & Concealment, Tomahawk Throwing, Salmon Pannassing, Cooking, Firelighting and plenty of Games.

This is a great way to end your first year at school - bonding with your peers and making friendships that will last a school lifetime.  And you even get to see your teachers maimed and left for dead!

Students in 7C gave us some of their highlights of the trip:

  • The activities were very fun!

  • I enjoyed stories around the campfire.

  • 'Smores in the Yurt!

  • First aiding at an aeroplane crash - carrying Mr Beardsworth and Mr Robertson on a stretcher!

  • Lunchtime riddles.

  • Sleeping in a tent with friends (chatting late at night).

  • I really liked axe throwing and archery!

  • Lighting fires.

  • The leaders were lots of fun!

Well done Year 7 - you made the most of your trip and were great fun to be with!
