A Level Geographers visit Kingswood

This first month of the new term gave our Year 13 Geographers the opportunity to put their fieldwork skills to the test in Norfolk, where we managed to stay one step ahead of the weather.

As well as the chance to gather valuable data for their Non-Exam Assessments (NEAs), a full itinerary of extra-curricular pursuits ranging from archery to high ropes ensured that the class's last trip with Leventhorpe Geography Department was a memorable one!

“Visiting Norfolk gave me the chance to see first-hand coastal erosion at work... whilst also seeing the efforts of urban regeneration around the centre of Norwich”

- an A-level Student

I’d like to highly praise the class for their efforts during the very long days of fieldwork study as well as their conduct whilst representing Leventhorpe in Norfolk!

I’d also like to say a big thank you to Mr Beardsworth who drove us to and from Kingswood, as well as during each of the fieldwork study sessions.
