The LEVEREST Challenge
BackThe Leverest Challenge commences!
Mrs Quelch from Finance began the first leg of Leventhorpe's 24hr Leverest climb of 29,033ft (the height of Everest) on the gym's Stairmaster machine at precisely 9am this morning and was closely followed by our Head of English, Mr Robertson.
Throughout the next 24hours staff and sixth form students will put their hamstrings, quads, calves and gluts to test and take it in turns to complete the challenge which will continue all through the night until 9am tomorrow morning.
We will post updates on Twitter @Lev6thForm so keep your eyes out for more!
This is a sponsored event to raise money for local charity The President's Sporting Club & Essex Disabled Sports Foundation as part of Leventhorpe's Charity Week 2022.
