It's one of our favourite events of the year - when we invite local OAP's to join us for a festive lunch and spend some time with the Sixth Form!

This year, our thirty special guests were collected and brought to our new Sixth Form building to be entertained by student musicians Harry Roberts on piano, Arthur Cowan on the drums and singers Bella Clapson, Zoe Quelch and Daniel Elsley with the staff additions of Mr Beardsworth (trumpet) and Mr Sarjeant (piano) with renditions of classic Christmas hits.

The Sixth Form Common Room was decorated and looking very Christmassy with presents for each guest waiting under the Christmas tree (our beautiful, real tree being very kindly donated to us by Mike's of Sawbridgeworh) and there were sandwiches, sausages rolls and mince pies gallore!

Sixth Form students had organised a fun, festive quiz, two rounds of Bingo and asked the audience to vote in a Christmas Hat Competition.  There was even a free raffle for every guest to enter with the chance to win a lovely hamper prize.

We hope our special guests enjoyed their morning and we thank them for braving the cold weather and joining us to spread a little Christmas cheer!
