Leventhorpe staff are being HUNTED!

But which team, if any, would make it to the end?  The votes were cast before the whole school watched with bated breath!

As the bell sounded at the Main Reception, the teams of two had just 2 minutes to try to put as much distance between themselves and our pack of sixth-form HUNTERS (Amelia Lellow, Riley Weekes and Jack & Ryan Ring) who were released into the school buildings on their mission to hunt down each team and capture their 'tag' before they could reach their three given locations!

Whilst some teams were still formulating their plan whilst others were hiding in cupboards, Dann & Learmonth were off to a head start with their first location bagged.  Meanwhile, Daws & Richmond found themselves exposed on the Astros and were the first team to be hunted down in an open-air pursuit but both Hopson & Kilgour and Dann & Learmonth were busy bagging their second locations.

Hay & Lester's desperate sprint was not enough to evade the HUNTERS and they were closely followed in capture by Kitson & Rodriguez whose complacency cost them dearly.  Messenger & Allen hid in the Hive whilst Beardsworth & Chester were shortly discovered in the drama studio.  Mr Beardsworth didn't give up his tag easily and it was a very brave Jack Ring who 'extracted' it and took one for the team!!

A dash across the Piazza failed to save Messenger & Allen from the HUNTERS and, not long after, Hopson & Kilgour soon met their fate.

This left just Dann & Learmonth on the loose...but could they make it back to the Leisure Centre without the HUNTERS who were rapidly closing in on them....?

STAFF TALENT SHOW

And so to our lunchtime event and that annual highlight!  And what a year to remember!

Staff took to the stage again, this time to show off their talents and boy, were we entertained!

Mr Bambury began with an electric guitar solo followed by an original acoustic song performed by Mr Robertson.  The audience was then treated to a medley of vocal performances from Miss Hills (accompanied on the piano by Mr Sarjeant), Mr Kitson (with his famous 'Sweet Caroline'), Mrs Thomas and Miss Miller

Mr Beardsworth's 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' played on his trumpet was the penultimate act before the finale which saw the MFL Faculty's first ever Abba Tribute with outstanding performances from Mr Belt, Mr McGee, Mrs Sandeman-Hall, Mrs Ortega and Mrs Fernandez.

Mr McGee's dance solo will be one highlight that we will all remember for many years to come!
