Goodbye Year 11 2024!

Sawbridgeworth rang with the sound of whistles and horns this morning as our Year 11 cohort celebrated their final day in school today, parading through the town from Vantorts Park to Leventhorpe.

With students permitted to 'embellish' their uniform in their house colours, it was a colourful and wonderful sight to see.  At Leventhorpe we are proud of our young people and have, over the years, come to celebrate our Leavers' Day in our own way, giving tribute to all of the hard work they have put in and wishing them the best of luck for their futures.

Students have breakfast in the Sports Hall followed by their final form registration.  They then embark on shirt signing and hoodie and yearbook collections and a break before parents are invited to attend speeches from Mr White, their Head of Year (Mrs Simpson) and their Form Tutors.  It is always emotional and always a special day for our students to remember forever.

We wish our Year 11 the best of luck over the next few weeks and we hope to see many of them back here next year in the Sixth Form.

Goodbye and Good Luck to Year 11 Leavers 2024!
