During form time, we watched the Riddle Run in which staff competed against eachother in a treasure-hunt-style race to the prize!  It was a close run between teams 1 and 3 who reached the final destination simultaneously.  A tussle broke out as, having spotted the prize from behind a barrier, Miss Rodriguez directed her team mate, Mr Chester, to the fridge door...however, Mr Chester had not bargained on a woman's need for chocolate and was subsequently shoulder-barged by the small-but-mighty Ms Fernandez who rose victorius with her box of Celebrations!  ...We're not even sure she shared them with her team mate, Mrs Sandeman-Hall...?

At lunchtime, the hall was packed with students, all eagerly awaiting the Staff Talent Show in which did NOT disappoint!  Mr Bambury on the guitar, Mr Beardsworth on the trumpet, and powerful vocal duet from Miss Miller and Mrs Crosby and a solo by Mrs Thomas got the crowd on their feet and dancing!  There was a surprise appearance from Dolly Kitson who perfomed 'Nine to Five' to whoops and wolf whistles. The show's finalé was a whole department act from MFL with their lanuages version of YMCA remastered as 'Love MFL'!  There was even a spot of Irish dancing from Mr McGee to top it off!

What a show! - The students have a lot to live up to tomorrow!
