Our last day of Charity Week began with the end; at 8.30am students completed their 24hr sponsored Bounce and having set a target of 100,000 bounces, they managed to quadrupled the number by bouncing over 400,000!!

It was a very long night but they did it!  Well done to all those involved and we hope you get some well-earned rest at the weekend!

And of course, the next thing was the BIG REVEAL!  And it turned out to be the Irish jigger himself, Mr McGee who was the mystery murderer, insensed by Ms Vashi's spurious fortune telling into whacking her and Ms Hajwanai (who happened upon the scene) over the head with a copy of Keeping Children Safe In Education - what a way to go!

The Masked Singers were also revealed and there were certainly some surprises there!   Mental Health Maurice was revealed as Mr Learmonth, Poppin' Pirate was Mrs Thomas, Daft Punk Dave was Mr Kitson (AKA Dolly Kitson), Princess Peach was Mr Turvill and perhaps the trickiest of all to guess was Tommy T-Rex who turned out to be none other than Mr Harrison!

The final event of this week and, perhaps the highlight, was the Student Talent Show which took place before another packed audience in the hall.  There were amazing solo vocal performances from Eva Levinson, Lillie Stafford and Maisie Bevans, an incredible tap dance routine by Annabelle Duncan, Oskar Linsell's hilarious Marvellous Magioso, a song trio by Miranda Cerrito, Grace Turvill and Afryea Omonoseh, a dance routine from 'Junior Gems' Paige Landon and Emily Jones and Guy Anthony performing his own incredible music on vocals and electric guitar.  The audience was again up on their feet and dancing. The final act was performed by Year 9 band Lenny Lakin and Noah Tucker (guitars), Jayden Ibrahim-Blackstone (drums) and Roselea Hall (vocals). It was an incredible end to a truly outstanding event.

A special mention must go to Logan Young who has done a fantastic job of being the compère for all of the live events this week - and he conluded the week by announcing that in total, the current amount raised stands at £8,746.69...and counting!

This is an amazing amount and our sincere thanks go to each and every student, parent and member of staff who has helped in any way to achieve this.  We have all had a lot of fun too.
